Mrs. Samanthi Senadhira
Founder
Our founder is a passionate and dedicated educator with over 25 years of experience in primary education. She has served in leadership roles including Primary Head and Grade Coordinator, playing a key role in preparing students for the Cambridge Primary Checkpoint Examinations.
Her career reflects a strong commitment to holistic education, with contributions as Teacher-in-Charge of Sports and President of the Teachers’ Guild, advocating for student growth and staff wellbeing. Known for her initiative and exceptional organizational skills, she has successfully coordinated school functions, educational events, and student excursions.
Academically, Samanthi holds a Diploma in Child Psychology and is a graduate of the IIC, University of Technology Cambodia, providing her with deep insight into child development and pedagogy.
A proud alumna of Mahamaya Girls’ College, Kandy, she was a Senior Prefect, a talented athlete, and a performer with the National Youth Orchestra—experiences that fostered her leadership, creativity, and passion for the arts and sports.
Mrs. Jeeva Rohini Siriwardena
Director
Our director, Mrs. Siriwardena brings to Clover Prep School more than 50 years of teaching experience both in Sri Lanka and overseas. A Mathematics graduate of the University of Colombo, she has made significant contributions to education through her teaching excellence and curriculum development work.
She has translated government mathematics textbooks into the English medium, making quality learning resources more accessible to a wider group of students. Over the course of her distinguished career, she has also served as the head of several teacher associations, championing professional development and educational standards for teachers nationwide.
With her unparalleled depth of experience, subject expertise, and lifelong dedication to education, Ms. Siriwardena provides Clover Prep School with a strong academic foundation and a legacy of educational leadership.
Our School Learning Environment
At our school, we provide a safe, nurturing, and engaging space for children from Lower Kindergarten up to Grade 5. Our goal is to give every child personal attention, a strong academic foundation, and joyful learning experiences.
Class Size & Teachers
Each class has a maximum of 15 children to ensure individual care.
In Kindergarten and Grade 1, each class has two teachers:
A senior teacher
An assistant teacher
All our staff are qualified and highly experienced in teaching young children.
Curriculum & Learning Approach
Our curriculum is activity-based, helping children learn by doing.
We use modern technology in the classroom, including smart boards for interactive lessons.
Textbooks are provided by the school for all grades.
In Kindergarten, all learning materials are provided by the school, so parents don’t have to worry about supplies.
Play & Exploration
We have a large play area with exciting, safe equipment.
Playtime is more than fun—it helps children build physical, social, and problem-solving skills.
